Concept and benefits

The Newlofts concept is based on processes of industrial construction : steel frame and exterior walls made of prefabricated elements.
This logic involves the use of materials presented like "industrial", which remains visible and left in their raw appearance.
The main components of a Newlofts building are :

a supporting structure of steel, inside the volume, consisting of tubes or profiles H and I ;
industrial slabs of cellular concrete 30cm thick, anchored to the metal structure carrier ;
roof consists of self-supporting sandwich panels and super insulation topped with profiled steel sheets.

In certain circumstances (environment, budget, aesthetic, ...), alternative materials can be implemented :

sandwich panel facades instead of cellular concrete slabs, they will be covered by such a siding or wood panels ;
cladding slabs Ytong by a cladding brick facades, cladding, coating, ... ;
Cover roofing by slates, tiles, zinc, synthetic membranes, ... ;
tiling floors, wood floor, concrete slabs or collaborating floors collaborating for the first stage...

The advantages of the system are undeniable and legion :

prefabrication of the structure and almost all the materials used ;
rapid implementation ;
construction mainly in a dry phase (no concrete, no plastering, ...) ;
simple construction details without any risk of poor workmanship during installation of the elements : no thermal bridges, no damp, ... ;
reducing waste and other inert ;
constructive process generally positive in terms of environmental costs (manufacturing, production, transportation, implementation, recycling, etc.) ;
Great freedom of internal arrangement and permanent evolution capacities ;
design "loft", contemporary, unique and exclusive ;
and many more...

Other benefits can be found through the dominant material, cellular concrete, which is implemented in its industrial look is in long slabs of � 6m in length, 30cm width and 60cm high.
Cellular concrete offers advantages such as being an excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, excellent humidity control and thanks to its cell structure, waterproof, inorganic, rot proof, immune to foam, frost and perfectly diffuse water vapor.

Thanks mainly to the qualities of the materials, "Newlofts" architectures display without any problem of insulation values overall (coefficient K) near K = 30 for a standard in 2010 in the Walloon Region of K = 45.
Depending on their volume, their guidance, their type of heating and processes bioclimatic implemented or not, our architectures can be classified as "low energy". But our architectures go beyond these aspects, significant energy savings, they have to be large, bright, unique and singular.
